I'm so glad you've found our website!
I would love to introduce myself. I am Julie and me and my mom, Rita, started this business in July of 2002. My
mother, who is an incredible artist, hairdresser and had already been beading for years wanted some help learning
a new design. That's where I fit in. I was in Michigan for a visit and helped her by making my first beaded bracelet
(I had worked in wire, Sterling, and other beaded projects years before). It turned out to be loads of fun, so when
I went home (stocked with various beads from mom's collection), I dusted off my own bead collection and started another new
hobby (aside from sewing and greeting cards).
I loved it as much as my mom does and together
we decided to start a business. We share the beading projects and since we live in different states, we both bring something
different to the board. We buy different beads, have different styles, and use different methods, so we rarely compete.
Since our items are so beautiful (we both
wear our designs daily), they are selling great, but we can produce much more than we can sell in one place. SO, we
decided to try a website to offer our unique designs to everyone!
